| About Us A Colorful Past and a Bright Future McRae Imaging was founded in 1966 by Floyd McRae as McRae Custom Color Labs. For forty years, the McRae name has been synonymous with exceptional image reproduction. As traditional photo finishing was overtaken by digital technology, we looked for a new medium. And we found it - fabric. As a medium, fabric is amazingly versatile – It’s lightweight, portable, foldable, durable…even washable. What makes fabric exciting as a medium is the fact that it stretches. What makes fabric challenging as a medium is that, you guessed it, it stretches. Today McRae Imaging is a world leader in Dye Sublimation printing and fabric technology. Our 20,000 square foot facility houses the latest in digital dye-sub printing equipment, an in-house finishing department and a state of the art metal fabrication shop.
